Hey Michael,

I wanted to give you an update on my progress. Knowing my ATHR has helped a lot with my training, and I've recently seen big gains in my sustainable power and it has shown in my performance and now finally my results. I won a race on Saturday. So I wanted to thank you and if you are over here again some time maybe it would be worth getting tested again.

Steve

Michael,

You lit a whole new fire under me. I had been competing for over twenty years and had taken a break for a few clean-up operations but couldn't get my head around training like the old days. Now I have a purpose and I can't wait to be re-tested in the future.

Thanks Again,

Jack Bianchi USAT

Michael,
I want to thank you for your services. The data and program that you and Jill Tarver provided me is worth more weight than gold. Allow me the opportunity to send a HUGE thanks to Michael. He was flexible with his schedule and worked around my insane weekly regiment. When he arrived at my house at 6:00am for a full RMR, VO2, Lactic, and Wattage test I was amazed how prepared he was and had everything set up less than 10 minutes and at the same time guiding me through of how the test was going to be conducted and what I was going to experience. I always felt safe and secure in his knowledge. Michael is the real deal who understands the theory and the practical application that is necessary and vital for this full and complete service. Michael has a deep knowledge of how the data applies to training, racing, and just being a human.

The value that Xtreme 02 cannot be put on a balance sheet. If you look at the overall cost, the data, service, and testing this is a total bargain or what we call in marketing a phenomenal PQR (Price to Quality Ratio).

Having just hit my 40th birthday this was just more than a test to see how strong I was but, more of a check of where my limits are and how to work with the data that was provided. It seems that I have read every triathlon magazine and program and the data was always based on some genetically gifted Pro or a General number. I spent 2 years going off perceived exertion than to fully realize that I was off around 10%-18% for my interval and recovery training. Thus, my results tapered and stayed flat. Hitting the ripe age of 40, I knew that data was going to be the key to success but more important knowing what my lactic and V02 data was for training and staying healthy without having the huge highs and lows that I used to have. I now have balance in my training. I feel that I have more energy and still losing that extra weight without the cravings.

In terms of racing, I took this data and knew exactly what my V02 max was and when I went to the other side of C02. In my first race of the year at the Standford Triathlon 2007 I remember vividly climbing the first big hill and checking my Polar 150 and when I hit 155 BPM I made sure I stayed there. Thus, allowing riders to pass me on the climb but just like patient racer not getting caught up in the struggle like I did in the years in the past. The result was when we hit the flats I rode at 40 KPH 24.85 mph to 49 KPH 29.85 mph with a 145-152 BPM with tons of wattage still left in the legs. When hitting
T2, I had fresh legs with a sustained V02 in balance and hit my stride strong in the first quarter mile and finishing off with a sub 7 minute mile. I made it to the podium with a 3rd place finish. I will not bore you with the details of my next race a 6 mile trail run at Folsom lake Chanoka. First in Age Group and 4th overall. Applied the same method never went into the red and had a balanced race.

This is all because of the Xtreme 02 services. Not only is racing become funner if that is a word but the pain is not even close to where it used to be and I have faster results in all three disciplines. It is like I have this secret weapon that is truly stealth. My training is in line and I feel great while increasing my recovery days with building a strong base. It was so refreshing to get my own data instead of reading what everybody does in there VO2, Lactic, and wattage.

The RMR testing was critical for me to develop a program for losing weight and staying healthy.

The data that Michael provided me with the RMR allowed me to design and build a nutritional program that came off exact accurate data that was based on my genetics. Jill Tarver provided me exceptional information that allowed me to reflect on how I feed my body and what to take out that was not necessary and what I could live without. Jill Tarver was always polite, kind, and responded to my neurotic questions and her deep knowledge in the field of nutrition and racing is incredible. She is a goldmine of information. Jill Tarver is a class act and a professional that could walk right down in Manhattan in New York and charge 10 times more for her programs.

In the first week alone I lost 5 ILBS and feel a thousand percent better from training instead of feeling the fatigue and having that sugar rush that I always got around 2:00pm.

Again, Thanks Michael and Jill you are a class act and a true professional. No need to kick the tires and think about this service. The PQR is off the CHART!!!

I have to admit, when Dawn did RMR testing on me, I was a bit skeptical.  I have had a weight problem my whole life.  I have tried every diet known to man, and I thought this would be another plan for me to try with limited success.  I have lost weight in the past, but as soon as I would go back to "normal" eating, the weight I lost and more would seem to find me again.
I waited several months before committing myself fully to the new plan, but since I started I have had great success.  The most positive thing I have noticed is this isn't a diet.  I don't have to eat only fruits and vegetables or count carbs.  I can eat anything I want, just in moderation.  It is a lifestyle change that I can live with for the rest of my life and never feel cheated!
Since I committed myself to my new eating habits eight weeks ago, I have lost 30 lbs.  It has been the easiest change I have ever made.  I never feel hungry and I have more energy than I have had in years.  I wish someone would have told me sooner how easy this would be.
You are probably thinking that I spend hours in the gym in addition to my eating changes, but I don't.  I workout out every day in my home for 30 to 40 minutes, and then I am done for the day.
The most helpful thing for me has been to keep a food journal.  I write down every calorie I put into my body every day.  I think this has really helped me stay on track because if I am not willing to write it down and own up to the calories, then it isn't something I really need to eat anyways!  I have also found that eating every 2 1/2 to 3 hours is great for me.  I never have time to get hungry, so I don't "graze" like I used to.
Thank you Dawn for helping me make positive changes and getting my life back on track!

As part of the Employee Wellness Program at the Town of Danville,  Xtreme O2 was requested to come on site and educate employees about the benefits and procedures for testing individual's resting metabolic rate. Several employees volunteered to participate in the testing. The employees found the Xtreme O2 staff to be supportive, professional and informative. The testing results were immediate anprovided an eye opening experience which led many employees to make changes and modifications to their overall fitness and nutritional practices. The Town's benefit was a healthier and more energized group of employees

After doing the VO2 testing I hired Jill Tarver, the nutrionist Michael referred. She received my testing results and I recorded my food intake for 3 days along with my workout schedule and goals. What an eye opener for me. Through this whole process I came to realize that not only was I undertraining I was also undereating, even though I was eating the right types of food it wasn't enough. She put a plan together that would meet my nutrition needs. She increased my caloric intake that met the needs of my workout schedule and goals I have set. I have defineately noticed an improvement not only in my nutrition but my overall performance.
